Spring Afterschool Programs 2023

Our afterschool programs provide Project-Based Learning curriculum that embeds literacy throughout the unit. In the Spring of 2023, our students engaged in a gardening unit centered around the question, “How can we sustainably provide food for those in our community?”

First, students discovered how and what to grow. They learned about sustainable practices that would help guide their project. They planted and watered vegetables that they chose to grow. All of this, while creating a growing guide to give to others.

We are so proud of what our students accomplished and the autonomy that students took to determine their final project!
